Innovator | Leader | US Navy Veteran | Additive Manufacturing (AM) SME executive with program management and strategic sourcing experience.

Building hardware, software, materials, people and processes.

My background includes helping companies discover, develop, and deploy systems and processes for operational efficiencies and cost savings. I possess a unique and effective viewpoint on management of individuals and teams, with an emphasis on building from within and teaching accountability.

I was the Chief Product Officer at MakerBot, a Brooklyn, NY based 3D printing start-up, where my responsibilities included evolving hardware, software and full ecosystem products based upon a passionate user/customer-centric model. At MakerBot, my greatest pleasure was creating a positive work culture across multiple departments, hiring and training individuals to build the company from 50 employees to over 650 in 18 months. MakerBot sold for $400M in 2013 and I significantly contributed to that successful exit for the founders/investors.

I have built new shops, production processes, hired talent, and secured patents specifically for Additive Manufacturing (AM). This includes the evaluation of the technology, materials, maintenance contract review, as well as uncovering all the hidden cost(s) of software, post processing and storage requirements.
