My background includes helping companies discover, develop, and implement systems and processes that improve operations and reduce costs. I bring a practical and effective approach to managing individuals and teams, with a strong focus on developing talent from within and building a culture of accountability.
I served as Chief Product Officer at MakerBot, a Brooklyn, NY based 3D printing hardware startup. My responsibilities included developing and evolving hardware, software, and the broader product ecosystem, all centered around a strong customer and user focused approach.
One of my greatest accomplishments at MakerBot was helping create a positive work culture across multiple departments. I hired, developed, and trained employees as the company grew from approximately 50 employees to more than 650 in just 18 months. MakerBot was sold for $400 million in 2013, and I played a significant role in helping the founders and investors achieve that successful exit.
I have also built new manufacturing operations, developed production processes, hired technical talent, and secured patents related specifically to Additive Manufacturing (AM).
